At IQ Test Recruiter, our mission is simple: create a vast, diverse, and inclusive data set of individuals to generate the most accurate IQ score from a visual test.

What Is The Normalization Process?

Normalization: Raw scores are transformed to fit a normal distribution curve. This involves statistical calculations to adjust the scores relative to the mean (average) and standard deviation of the distribution.

Mean and Standard Deviation: In a normal distribution, the mean represents the average score (100), and the standard deviation indicates the spread or variability of scores around the mean. Our IQ scores will be standardized with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of fifteen (85-115).

Creating the Bell Curve: The normalized IQ scores are then plotted on a graph to create the bell curve, also known as the Gaussian curve or normal distribution curve. This curve illustrates the distribution of IQ scores within the population, with the majority of scores clustered around the mean and fewer scores at the extremes.
